Born in London, England, then in London, Ontario, involved in community development work and came to Regina in1985 has remained ever since.
For his 40 years of service in helping improve living conditions for inner-city residents, which he accomplished in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, he was awarded, in May 2017, the Governor General's Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers.
He has led the Community into the 21st century by being the wise leader that recognizes that "A good leader can only lead well so long as they do not go too far ahead of everyone else."
He has been involved in interfaith dialogue on many levels even to stretching the envelope in partnering with Archbishop Don Bolan of Regina, SK to discuss Leonard Cohen’s work, which led to sold out presentations.

Born and educated in Eston, SK, the sixth of seven children.
Entered St. Pius X Seminary in 1984, then, St. Augustine’s Seminary in Toronto receiving his Master of Divinity Degree as well as his Pontifical Degree in Sacred Theology.
A supporter of the Holocaust Education program in Saskatoon, in collaboration with Heather Fenyes, who led such educational initiatives.
Visited the Holy Land in 2018.

Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University in Regina, and PhD in 2010 from McMaster University.
Teaches and researches in the areas of Modern Jewish Thought, Social Justice, Jewish-Christian Relations and Religious Education, and specializes in the thought of the German Jewish philosopher Hermann Cohen and methods of biblical interpretation.
In 2013 presented paper, "Dialogue and Dignity: Linking Nostra Aetate to Catholic Social Justice Teachings” at the "Turning to the World" conference at St. Thomas More College (STM) and presented a paper on the Sisters of Sion at the STM conference “Dialogue and Diversity” in 2015.
Involved in Catholic, Jewish, Muslim dialogues in Saskatoon, and served as a member and then later chair of Saskatoon’s Roman Catholic Diocese’s Commission on Interfaith Relations.
Has served six years on the Sisters of Sion congregational Jewish-Christian Relations Development Team.
